Apple has updated the MacBook Pro with Retina display: faster processors, double the memory in both entry-level configurations and a new reduced price for the 15-inch flagship model.
The new MacBook Pro with Retina display has a high-resolution screen, a thin design (1.8 cm), latest generation processors, advanced graphics, and up to nine hours of battery life. Apple today also reduced the starting price of the 13" MacBook Pro (non-Retina) by 103 euros to 1,129 euros.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display has dual-core Intel Core i5 processors up to 2.8GHz with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.3GHz and 8GB of memory, up from 4GB on the entry-level model. The 13-inch model can be configured with dual-core Intel Core i7 processors up to 3.0GHz, with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.5GHz.
The top model, the 15" MacBook Pro with Retina display, is available at a new reduced price starting from 2,529 euros. It has faster quad-core Intel Core i7 processors, up to 2.5GHz, with Turbo Boost speeds of up to 3.7GHz, 16GB of memory, up from 8GB on the entry-level model, and can be configured with quad-core Intel Core i7 processors up to 2.8GHz with Turbo Boost speeds up to 4.0GHz.
The iLife and iWork suites come standard on all new Macs. With iLife, you can edit videos in iMovie, create music or learn to play the piano or guitar with GarageBand, and organize, edit, and share your best shots with iPhoto.
OS X Mavericks also comes standard on all new Macs.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display is available with a 2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.1GHz, 8GB of memory, 128GB flash drive, and Intel Iris graphics, starting at 1,329 euros; with a 2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.1GHz, 8GB of memory, 256GB flash drive and Intel Iris graphics at a price starting from 1,529 euros; and with 2.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.3GHz, 8GB of memory, 512GB flash drive and Intel Iris graphics starting at €1,829. BTO customizations include Intel Core i7 processors faster dual-core, up to 3.0 GHz, with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.5 GHz, up to 16GB of memory and up to 1TB flash drives.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display is available with a 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.4GHz, 16GB of memory, 256GB flash drive, and Intel Iris Pro graphics at a starting price from 2,029 euros; and with a 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.7GHz, 16GB of memory, 512GB flash drive and Intel Iris Pro and NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M graphics at a price of starting from 2,529 euros.Customizations include faster quad-core Intel Core i7 processors, up to 2.8GHz, with Turbo Boost speeds up to 4.0GHz, and flash drives up to 1TB.
The 13" MacBook Pro is available with a 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.1GHz, 4GB of memory, Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics and a 500GB hard drive at a price starting from 1,129 EUR.
